Dear LBYH Travel Hockey Families,

Thank you for participating in tryouts and for your continued support of LBYH. We’re excited to announce Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam team placements for the 2026–27 season.

About the Evaluation Process:

• Coach Evaluations: End-of-season evaluations from 2025–26 coaches were included as part of the overall assessment process.

• Tryouts: Registered players were evaluated through drills and scrimmages by independent committee members selected to avoid conflicts of interest.

Team placement decisions are based on multiple data points to create balanced teams that support development and provide a positive hockey experience. We recognize placements may bring mixed emotions and encourage all players to enter the season with an open mind, positive attitude, and team-first mentality.

Roster Structure & Movement:

LBYH aims to roster an equal number of skaters and goalies per team whenever possible. Initial top team rosters may be smaller to allow for upward player movement in September. Final team sizes will be balanced across all levels after that movement occurs.

Notes by Age Group:

• Mites (3 teams), Squirts (4 teams), Peewees (3 teams), Bantams (3 teams): Some upward movement may occur in September as rosters are finalized.

Each player will receive a registration invitation email in the coming days. Please look out for this email with instructions to complete registration and submit the reservation fee. Rosters are full at most levels, and your player’s spot is not guaranteed until registration is complete.

Where confirmed, coaching staff information is included with team rosters. Additional updates will be posted online as they become available.
