Hank Manz In-House
The Hank Manz In-House League is a fun introduction to the game of hockey. Players participate weekly in half-ice games. Kids are grouped into age-diverse and balanced NHL-themed teams and play on-ice against kids of similar ability level. The league is completely focused on development, good sportsmanship, and having fun.
Eligibility
For the 2022-2023 season, birth years 2012-2017
Lexington, Bedford, Hanscom AFB and Lincoln residents
Games
Weekly games are expected to be Saturday mornings
Players are placed on one of three lines according to ability; like lines compete against one-another during games
One team member plays goalie each week using league-provided equipment
‘Buzzer hockey’ shifts for equal playing time
Season
November 5, 2022 through the mid-February or early March (TBD)
Games will be played Saturday mornings at Hayden and times will be announced prior to each season
October 21, 2022 at the Edge - Lower at either 6:05pm-7:00pm or 7:10pm-8:00pm evaluation sessions to assign balanced teams. Actual split of evaluation time slots is TBD but likely alphabetical by last name.

Games are expected to be at the Hayden Ice Rink in Lexington
Practices are expected to be at the Edge in Bedford
Practices
One practice per week (unless otherwise communicated prior to the season)
Practices are expected to be Friday nights starting after Thanksgiving week through February
