Explanation of Roster Postings

Pursuant to our program communication on 20 April 2020, the LBYH Board determined that player evaluation data accumulated over the course of last season was sufficient to build the majority of each team, and to ensure players are placed correctly.  Given current circumstances the board felt this was the fairest and most equitable approach to team formation.

Teams at each level are generally very full so it is important for your player to claim their roster spot by registering and paying the roster reservation fee when you receive the Roster Reservation email.  Your player’s spot is not guaranteed until you register them and pay their roster reservation fee.

  • Typically, our top AAA teams roster has fewer players upon announcement allowing for player movement in mid to late September.  In order to be certain players are placed correctly you may experience fewer or more players on a team than usual.  This is intentional.  Final teams will have equitable numbers across each level after all player movement has taken place.

  • Please note the Mite A1 and A2 team rosters will be equal skill-level teams.  The teams will be divided with teammate request considered and finalized in the coming weeks and posted on the LBYH website. If your player is assigned to Mite A1/A2 please forward teammate requests to and we will do our best to accommodate them.

  • The Bantam level does not have enough players to make up three teams.  Therefore, we will roster two full teams in order to ensure there are enough players available to practice and play in games during the high school season.

  • Girls teams have not been announced as of yet and registration remains open.  If you have not registered your player for U12, U14 or U16/19, please do so as soon as possible so teams may be finalized.

  • Full-time GOALIES have not been placed on teams due to the lack of tryout and evaluation information.  A goalie tryout will take place in early September in order place players on the appropriate teams soon thereafter.  NOTE: Full-time goalies will be sent a 50% discounted tuition registration link such that they can register in the system and payments can be made.

  • Coaching staff information is posted together with team rosters where decisions have been confirmed.  Coaching staff will be updated on the LBYH website as further information becomes available.
