Dear LBYH Travel Hockey Players,

LBYH is pleased to announce the Travel team placements for the upcoming 2022-2023 Travel hockey season.

Explanation of Roster Postings:

  • LBYH, at its discretion, will generally seek to roster an equal number of skaters and goalies on each team whenever possible.
  • Typically, our top team rosters have fewer players upon announcement allowing for downstream player movement at the beginning of the season in September.  Final teams will have equitable numbers across each level after all player movement has taken place.i
  • Coaching staff information is posted together with team rosters where decisions have been confirmed.  Coaching staff will be updated on the LBYH website as further information becomes available.
  • The LBYH registrar will send you a link to the team registration page in May.  Teams at each level are generally very full so it is important for your player to claim their roster spot by registering and paying the roster reservation fee when you receive this email.  Your player’s spot is not guaranteed until you register them and pay their roster reservation fee.
  • Please note the number of Mite players is down compared to prior years.  Typically we would form at least four Mite teams, with two Mite A teams divided equally after accommodating friend requests.  If additional Mite players register between now and the beginning of the travel season, we could potentially form two Mite A teams.  If you know any Mite age players who have not registered yet, please let us know.
  • The Bantam level does not have enough players to make up three teams.  Therefore, we will initially roster two teams in order to ensure there are enough players available to practice and play in games during the high school season.  If additional players register between now and September, the board will determine if three Bantam teams are viable.
  • Please note that the Girls U10, U12, U14 and U19 teams are still to be formed based on pre-registration and will be posted at a later time.  The program plans to have at least one team at each level, dependent on registration.

If you have any questions, please email .

Thank you!
